SOPHIE LAZARI

Sophie Lazari earned a BFA in illustration and graphics from the Berlin University of the Arts. She also works as a tattoo artist, graphic designer, performance artist, and curator and coordinator of several online and offline projects. Her work has been exhibited at Prachtsaal, Berlin (2023); Lanalive, Lana (2022); Galerie Prisma, Bolzano-Bozen (2021); Rotes Rathaus, Berlin (2019); and Barbiche, Berlin (2019). In 2022, she was a recipient of the HGV Artist of the Year Award. Her public performances include Sexual Revolution, Parallel, Amsterdam (2023); On Domination, Sektor Evolution, Dresden (2023); (un)tie, Hotel Amazonas, Renon (2023); and Menstruation, Alte Münze, Berlin (2022).
