Giuseppe Pezzulla is a filmmaker from Salento who has distinguished himself not only for the quality of his collaborations but also for his production of works dedicated to promoting the region and valuing local talents. He is the founder of Teresia Film, a production company for audiovisuals born from his extensive experience in music, culture, and social fields. His activities extend to the cinema sector, where he has worked as an assistant director for Eagle Pictures and RC Productions. Among his numerous collaborations and projects: in 2014, he produced the documentary "Léune" for the feast of Saint Anthony Abbot in Novoli (Le). In 2016, he produced the film "Santi Caporali," which premiered at the European Film Festival in Lecce and the Religion Today Film Festival in Trento. Shot in Puglia, "Santi Caporali" is a vivid portrayal of the caporalato (illegal recruitment and exploitation of agricultural labor). It features Senegalese farmworker Gora Seck and tells the story of the exploitative dynamics that still govern the tomato market in the Puglia countryside.
