Fabrice Gaignault is a writer and the Arts editor-in-chief of the cultural monthly magazine Transfuge. He is the author of around ten books, including two artist biographies: Patrick Procktor, le secret de David Hockney and the recently published Jean Hélion, le franc-tireur. Among his other works are a "Dictionary of Literature for Snobs," translated into Italian, and a series of four books on the highs and lows of pop culture icons: Égéries Sixties, Aspen Terminus, Vies et mort de Vince Taylor, Bobby Beausoleil et autres anges cruels.
