DAISY KIDD

Resident of March 2025

Daisy Kidd is a Berlin-based artist and creative facilitator, originally from the UK. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014 with a first class honors degree in Contemporary Art History where her research focused on the precarious of temporary art studios in post-industrial places. Her professional background is in the cultural sector, specifically in communications, facilitation and youth work, where she has worked for non-profit organisations and NGOs that use art and culture as a vehicle for social change. Her artistic practice (printmaking) explores the interplay between reality and abstraction; using exploratory printing methods she creates multi-layered prints that evoke a sense of place, memory and belonging. She is part of a collaborative printing studio in Berlin where she works on independent projects, collaborations and commissions. Alongside this, she designs and facilitates printmaking workshops.
