Brizia Minerva is an art historian and curator at the Sigismondo Castromediano Museum in Lecce. After earning a master's degree in Modern Literature, she specialized in Contemporary Art History with Enrico Crispolti at the School of Specialization of the University of Siena. She has curated numerous exhibitions and museum installations with accompanying catalogs in close collaboration with the University of Salento, Mibact, and national and international museum and cultural institutions. She is the author of essays and scientific publications on topics related to modern art history, the 19th and 20th centuries, up to the present day. She has written for specialized magazines such as Kronos, Kermes, Art Dossier, and has contributed to the Nuovo Quotidiano di Puglia with the column "A Sud dell’arte."

Since 2017, she has co-directed the Vive le cinéma French Film Festival, overseeing the art section "Spazi aperti della visione" with video screenings, exhibitions, focuses on young French artists, and meetings with artists and curators. Since 2021, she has been responsible for the Carmelo Bene Archive, for which she has curated numerous projects with contemporary artists related to the work of Carmelo Bene and his archive, including Luigi Presicce's performance "Atto unico sulla morte in 5 compianti" and Rä di Martino's video installation "Là dove muore canta" in 2023.
