Diritti a Sud was founded in 2014 and operates in three main areas: rights protection, popular education, and agroecology. Together with the Solidaria Bari Association, it promotes the Sfruttazero project and is part of the national anticapitalist network Fuorimercato – Autogestione in Movimento.

Diritti a Sud is committed to protecting individual rights by promoting a culture of legality and combating mafias, organized crime, abuses of power, and all forms of discrimination. It aims to develop knowledge and prevention of social exclusion, racism, xenophobia, intolerance, and marginalization.

The SFRUTTAZERO project focuses on the cultivation of tomatoes with minimal water usage, especially local varieties, using products with a very low impact on crops, compatible with natural farming, and absolutely no synthetic products. The project involves mixed groups of migrants and locals who thrive on collaboration, mutual aid, and reciprocal support.
